Mantrabands: The Stylish Way to Stick to Your New Year’s Resolutions

I am sure that new year’s resolutions are at the forefront of most people’s minds lately. New year, new you right? I admit that along with my January resolutions I often make others throughout the year. When you make them does not really matter – sticking to them is what counts!
Along with keeping your resolutions reasonable, having a plan and being determined, you can also remind yourself daily to continue to push forward with a positive affirmation. One way of doing this while looking effortlessly stylish at the same time is with a mantraband! Hailing from sunny California they strive to encourage optimism.
“We do this by promoting a lifestyle of optimism, positivity, and mindfulness. MantraBand bracelets are made to inspire. They are the reminders to choose happiness, to live what you love and to be present in every moment.” – Mantraband, Our Story
La Creme, located in the picturesque town of St. Jacobs (just outside of Waterloo, Ontario) carries a wide assortment of these chic, minimalist pieces which start at approximately $35 CAD. The one I decided on was FEARLESS in the silver color. They are all created out of hypoallergenic, lead free and tarnish resistant stainless steel with gold and rose gold options being plated with a thick overlay of 18K gold. You can also order from the mantraband website, but to all my Canadian/Southern Ontarian readers I encourage you to shop local for these as you won’t have to pay for extra shipping fees!
These bracelets are also adjustable which is so important to me. I have very tiny wrists and usually only fit into children’s bracelets. I gently pushed my mantraband inward until I got it to the perfect size for me! Unlike most bangle-styled jewelry, I do not have to worry about it falling off my arm.
I also recommend stopping by La Creme because of the fantastic shopping experience. Not only do they carry a wide selection of gowns (perfect for proms, weddings and other big events) but the store is full of elegant decor to purchase for your home. As soon as I enter I am always greeted by helpful staff and surrounded by an upscale ambiance that is not often replicated. There is something for every age group – whether you are graduating high school, decorating your new house or a mother-of-the bride.
If you are looking for an excuse to escape the hustle and bustle of Toronto, La Creme is a must see. The town in which it is located in is complete with a Farmer’s Market open on Saturdays and Thursdays until 3pm where you can buy fresh, meats, cheeses, produce and home made goods.
The main street looks straight out of a movie with decorative store fronts and family-run businesses.
I would like to wish you all continued happiness and success in 2017. Keep crushing your goals and better yourself! Will a mantraband or two be part of your new routine?
