This Pop is going to POP in a few months! It was only a matter of time before my waistline expanded to a point that I could no longer jam into my regular clothes (unless they were/are made of spandex, of course). I spent a couple of months living in my black tights as it was far too cold to slip on a cute dress. Thank goodness, the second half of my pregnancy will be through the warm spring and summer months! I did manage to purchase a pair of nice maternity pants from H & M, but am partial to dresses when it comes to bump style. At 19 weeks this little bebe is starting to make an appearance – although some still arguably say that I could pass as simply bloated from a big meal! (I don’t agree!)
Throughout this very special phase in life I think it is extremely important to be comfortable! Even with this little bump I am beginning to feel my limitations when bending or getting up from lying down. I recently discovered PinkBlush maternity, which offers both comfort and style! I chose this lovely turquoise woven shoulder maxi dress from their website as I wanted something with a boho vibe that I could throw on in a pinch and be ready to go. It is something that can be dressed up or down and I am a sucker for the strappy shoulders!
I love to browse their maternity dresses on my lunch break and honestly it is hard to not get carried away! I still have 5 months to go – which means many more heavenly summer days to come, why not look great while I’m at it?
I also love their Instagram feed as they showcase real moms-to-be rocking their maternity style! Take a peek @shoppinkblush
