I like to grab a warm cup of cozy for the holidays – and I suppose what I am feeling inside is reflected in my outfits. I love comfy, neutral pieces and a mix of various textures.
I partnered again with PinkBlush and styled my camel ladder cut top with my favorite wool coat. The sleeves from the shirt almost appear to be an extension of the jacket. I am obsessed – what’s not to love?
I threw on my over-the-knee black faux suede boots, my husband’s toque and my old weathered Coach cross body. Funny story – I was not a a huge fan of the bag when I first bought it years ago. I liked it but felt it was “just ok.” Long story short I put it in the washing machine and it came out distressed. DUH. Ever since then it is one of my favorites! Who knew that wrecking something a little could make me love it?
While the top is adorable layered it is also great on it’s own. It is simple enough to be worn as a basic under something, but the sleeve details make it interesting to wear as is. P.S. This is not my house – the photos were taken at the fabulous new Restoration Hardware store in Yorkdale Mall. If you haven’t already been I suggest you go, even just to window shop!
With today finally being Christmas, I am so happy to have kept it laid back this year! Oftentimes I have a much bigger list of presents to buy. This year I cut myself some slack. I love to give but I simply don’t have the mental space or time right now! I hope you all have a few days filled with those you love and lots of laughter. Also – I challenge you to one random act of kindness directed at a stranger. You won’t believe how good it feels!
